Smart Lighting System User Manual

- Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone.
- Android users: Grant location permissions (required by the OS, not the app).
- Allow the app to access device addresses, names, and storage (for network enrollment).
- Enable camera permissions for QR code scanning (used for device sharing).

FAQ
Q1: Fixtures not detected in the Magic Light app?
- Do not pair fixtures via the phone’s native Bluetooth settings. Use the app’s guided setup.
- Ensure all app permissions are granted (see Permissions section).
- Avoid simultaneous control by multiple users (see FAQ3).
- Reset fixtures to factory settings if issues persist (see FAQ5).
(Note: Fixtures can only be discovered by a new device after disconnecting from the current one.)
Q2: How many fixtures can one smartphone control, and what’s the range?
- Max 50 fixtures per smartphone (with stable signals).
- 10m (32.8ft) between adjacent fixtures.
- Max distance from user to last fixture: 80m (262.46ft). Walls or obstacles may reduce range.
Q3: How to control lights with multiple phones?
- Max number of phones ≤ number of installed fixtures.
- Share control permissions via the app’s ”Operations” guide.
(Note: A single fixture cannot be controlled by another phone until the current user exits the app.)
Q4: How to synchronize color changes across multiple fixtures?
Add fixtures to a group, then set lighting effects for the group to enable automatic sync.
Q5: How to reset fixtures?
- Turn the fixture OFF 3 times.
- On the 4th power cycle, the light will blink slowly 3 times and stay lit, indicating a successful reset.
(Ensure the fixture fully powers off between resets.)
Q6: Can lights sync with third-party music apps?
- iOS users: Import songs via iTunes to use with the app.
- Enable ”Microphone Mode” and run the app in the background to sync lights with external music apps.
